Córdoba, Argentina – On September 18th, the first “Data Lunch | Potenciá tu futuro con Data e IA” was held in the city of Córdoba, organized by Snowflake in collaboration with Exomindset, one of the company’s local partners in the region.

The event brought together key executives from the local business sector, eager to discover how to leverage the power of data and artificial intelligence to drive their business growth. Among the attendees were prominent public and private companies such as EPEC, Aguas Cordobesas, Helacor S.A., Renault Argentina, Pintecord, Leistung Ingeniería, Pertrak S.A., and others.

The event featured a keynote presentation by Arthur Mazzini, part of the Snowflake team, who traveled from Miami, USA, to share insights into the latest trends in data management. During his talk, Mazzini addressed a critical issue: many companies are unaware of the wealth of valuable data they hold that could be used to accelerate growth, while others feel overwhelmed by the volume of data and don’t know where to begin.

The power of data and the cloud

One of the key topics discussed was the migration of data to the cloud. Increasingly, companies worldwide, and particularly in Latin America, are choosing to move their data and some of their operations to the cloud, allowing for faster, more efficient access to information and greater capacity to make data-driven decisions.

According to data presented at the event, data-driven companies are 23 times more likely to outperform their competitors in customer acquisition. This underscores the importance of having a clear data strategy that enables informed decision-making, improves operational efficiency, and optimizes business growth.
