About Bancor

Bancor is one of Argentina’s top financial institutions, serving as a cornerstone of economic and social development in Córdoba Province. With a network of over 150 branches and a diverse portfolio of financial products, Bancor’s mortgage loan division, APPTO, required a cutting-edge digital platform to streamline the loan application process and enhance property management for financed sales.

The Challenge

The APPTO team faced several challenges:

  • A lack of an intuitive system for managing mortgage loan applications.
  • Limited access for users to explore properties eligible for financing.
  • Inefficient property listing processes, hindering collaboration with real estate agents and developers.
  • They needed a robust digital solution to simplify operations, improve user experience, and foster collaboration.

    The Solution

    To address these challenges, we designed and implemented a web platform featuring two core components:

    User-focused Frontend: Designed to enable applicants to submit mortgage loan applications and explore properties eligible for purchase through Bancor financing. Key features include:

  • Calculate loan estimates: Includes UVA quotations for accurate financial projections.
  • Search properties: Access a database of properties pre-approved for Bancor financing.
  • Certify properties: Streamline property certification for APPTO-approved sales.
  • Robust Backoffice for Bancor Staff
    A module for the Bancor team to manage loan applications and certifications. Features include tools for tracking loans, monitoring applications, and updating property listings in real time.


    Impact

    Our solution delivered measurable results, including:

  • Reduction in approval times: By providing a portfolio of pre-certified properties deemed eligible by the bank, the loan approval process was expedited, reducing timelines from up to 6 months to approximately 45 days.
  • 100% digital process: APPTO enables customers to manage the entire loan application process completely online, from installment simulations to tracking the application status, without needing to visit a bank branch.
  • Ease in property search: The platform offers a portfolio of georeferenced properties, with details about location, features, and prices in Acquisition Value Units (UVAs). This helps users find homes that meet their needs and connect directly with the real estate agencies selling them.
  • Automated tracking: Digital forms and the automated management of application workflows streamlined staff efforts, achieving greater operational efficiency.
